Children's International library has 10,000 children books on offer, full of pictures. It is easier to read the older books as they are full of text. For the picture books, when you move pages, make sure your cursor is over the new text book and it will become big and easy to read. This does involve a bit a of careful backwards and forewards, but I did enjoy using the site.

http://m.gutenberg.org has so many books online that I won't start to count! Go to the bookshelf section and you will find lots of books you can either download free to your computer and onto your Kindle, or via WiFi or of course read online.

http://kids.niehs.nih.gov is packed full of really funny things to read and learn - I especially loved their 'Great Truths About Life' page. Well worth a read for any age!

What do Kids and Teens want these days?

Trying to create a safe page for kids and teens is tricky. Type the word teens into Google and all you get are things which would make your mother blush. I hope everything I found on the Kindle wireless reader will make a young mind smile, and more importantly, come back here to read a little more, are this is what a website is all about.

If there are great children's websites out there, which work well on the Kindle, I would really like to know about them and share them with all our other readers, so everyone can use their Kindle and learn a little bit more about the world around them.
